Touchy topic

I know this is out of my element but let me just say this. Yes we deal with racial profiling and all that on a day to day. What gets under my skin is why do people march? What exactly is that proving ? In my eyes it just shows that you can easily go to jail in style. What has marching done for anyone? Maybe I’m wrong but I say #StopMarching #StartAction

One of my truths

I always thought I would be able to make it in society without a high school diploma. Granted I am intelligent and posses the key skills to actually make it on my own, but it’s different when you have a family. To all those out there who do not have a high school diploma let me be the first to tell you that there is opportunity after you get it. You can really focus on a career an excel. I’m 29 years of age my only wish now is that I wish I would of gotten my diploma sooner.

What’s next ?

After finally having completed my high school credits to receive my high school diploma I am enrolling in a school to become a certified phlebotomist. I know my journey will be hard but I am not weak nor is my mind an will to keep pushing.
